Kawhi Leonard 和Paul George 首次以Clippers 隊友身份一同亮相。
在這Clippers 記者會中，Kawhi 和PG 各自感謝Raptors 和Thunder。Kawhi 也感謝Toronto 這城市。Kawhi 和PG 皆說Doc Rivers 作爲教練是其中一個加盟考量。Kawhi 說他感覺Clippers 想要爭冠。而PG 多次提到「回家到LA」。
PG 說起Pacers 在2011年選下Kawhi 的微妙因緣，並說「有如是註定的，我們是註定要一同打球。」
記者提及LA 有Lakers 的巨大身影，Kawhi 指出過去幾年Clippers 都是籃球表現較好的一隊，而即使Clippers 贏下總冠軍亦不一定會改變媒體、輿論對待兩支LA 球隊的方式。然後Kawhi 說 “If we go to the championship and win and we don’t get no coverage, that’s fine with me.”
對於Lakers 這個話題，PG 則這樣說：
“We got our own identity, we’re chasing something else. We’re not looking at the ‘Battle of LA’. We’ve got bigger things in mind.”
PG 說他沒有確定的回歸日程 (他在今夏兩度接受肩部手術)。
