San Antonio Spurs 官方今天宣佈，球隊已經正式與中鋒 Pau Gasol 完成買斷合約事宜。

Pau Gasol 於2016年7月14日加盟 Spurs，至今共上陣168場比賽，場均出場時間為22.4分鐘，能貢獻10分7.4籃板2.6助攻。

而據 ESPN 記者 Adrian Wojnarowski 報導，Gasol 下一站將會是東區榜首的 Milwaukee Bucks，期望能為 Bucks 帶來所欠缺的季後賽經驗。按照聯盟規定，球員必須在英國時間3月1日晚上11點59分前被裁掉或者買斷，才可以在季後賽中上陣比賽，因此這次 Paul Gasol 能如常為 Bucks 出戰季後賽。

Paul Gasol 在買斷事宜確認後於 Twitter 發文感謝 Spurs ︰「能夠為 NBA 裡其中一隊充滿傳奇故事的球隊效力，感覺就像發了一場夢，很榮幸能成為 Spurs 這個大家庭當中的一員。感謝所有的球隊職員、我的隊友、教練和球迷，感激你們令這裡變得如此獨一無二！」
馬刺總教練 Gregg Popovich 也對 Gasol 表示了感謝：「Gasol 是一位優秀的職業球員，同時也是一個非常傑出的人。非常感激他在場上、更衣室以及社區所作出的貢獻。」
