The MVPs for HKSSF Division 1 A Grade Inter-School Basketball Competition are selected by Clutch and Openball, and the selection is made based on the game statistics provided by Openball and the game analysis done by Clutch.
MVP for Kowloon Division: Ho Long Hang 何朗恆 (Pentecostal School)
MVP for Hong Kong Island Division: Dyus Dean (Chinese International School)
The shooting guard Ho Long Hang and the point guard (Dyus Dean), though not making it to the Finals, were both crucial players of their teams. While they did not play in star-studded teams, they carried their teams – especially in those difficult moments; and Ho’s off-balance jumpshots and Dyus’s Teardrop shots were spectacular. Though being scorers of their teams, they shot with high percentage and were top in terms of efficiency. Their MVP awards are therefore very well-deserved.
